Dungeons quests from tavern
Doing tavern dungeon quests looked to me like a pipedream some time ago – they looked like hard to beat. Now that I know how to man and equip dungeon crew, they are a cakewalk. All important question – is item drop and other rewards worth the experience gained?
They are not worth doing every day. Since tavern dungeon monsters are generally 3-4 levels higher than your level, you don’t get enough high price items to justify the experience that is usually 2-4 points per monster (with cooldown bonus). Doing them every day just levels you up too fast and financial gains are too small for that.
They do have a place in your arsenal though. Imagine the situation – you have just discovered that you have enough gold to train 1-2 attribute points. I know that it’s smart to keep something in reserve should something interesting pop up at the auction or for other matters, but.... If you are impatient person like I am, you are going to burn your gold on attributes.
And now something great pops up on auction. Damn. You need some money in the next 5-6 hours it takes for the auction to complete. Where do you go? Tavern of course. Since you are smarter than average bear you have accepted 3 quests previously. You haven’t completed anything, but since you get only one tavern dungeon in every 24 hours, you need to think ahead and accept quests before you need the money. One quests worth of gold is usually not enough to compete for a good item - you need to complete more than one.
Luckliy 5-6 hours is quite enough to do 2-3 dungeon quests and make a worthy bid.
So there you have it – always have 3 quests accepted, but don’t do them unless you need money quickly.
