High charisma mercs vs high skill mercs

How to choose your attackers

My trip to Italy and fighting the Hell Hound proved one thing. My „high-skill-and-very-little-else” mercenary crew is falling behind in productivity and I need to find new ones.

 

High skill merc crew has been relatively productive for me – for a long time I dominated Circus Turma with them and defeated Pyro without major problems.

 

Now I’ve gotten beat on Circus Turma by one smart gladiator that has high charisma mercenaries. Now I’ve got my fair share of problems with Hell Hound – it took me 6 fights to get that lucky roll from random number generator. Now it’s time to make a change.

 

How high does the charisma have to be? I’m going to be looking for 120+. I can’t really see any lower than that being able to outperform my „190 skill mercenary” for example.

 

In conclusion – high skill is easier to find between levels 10-29 and it’s a good approach to build your mini-army based on only one attribute. Beyond level 30 high skill is servicable, but charisma’s value increases very quickly since high charisma mercs appear more frequently and your opponents are buying them.
