FOREX is not the way to go.

At least for me it isn’t

I’m not enjoying it. That's the biggest reason and it’s as simple as that.

 

With poker I really want to learn new stuff every day, but I just can’t bring myself to read all those articles about forex trading. Maybe that will change one day, but for now I’m taking it down as one possibility to earn rubies.

 

Reasons for that are:

 

• You are up against central banks, investment banks, professional daytraders and other people who have probably have much better analytical tools at their disposal. Remember, in order for someone to have a winning trade, somebody has to lose a trade.
• It takes at least 6 month playing around with fake money account before you can start trading with real money. I just don’t feel like investing that much time to it – it probably takes ~2 hours a day to read through all the economic analysis and I just don’t want to do that.
• Entry costs are big. Although you can find platforms where 50$ is good enough for starters, minimum suggested trading roll is 1000$. That’s a lot of rubies right there. :D

 

I suppose it's a possiblity to earn extra bucks, but the initial investment is too big for me to enter this game. I mean, I just want to earn extra 15-20$ a month not invest 1000$ into a venture that isn't going to be very profitable for next 1-2 years.
