Equipment hunt

Toughest thing of them all in Gladiatus? I think it's not earning gold, it's finding a good equipment to spend it on. Above level 70 it seems that this is all you do every day - you go through all mercants, you watch every crappy item on the auction, you sort the market endlessly both by item level and gold asked for it. In the end this is a big nuisance.

How desperate is equipment hunt in Gladiatus? I've seen people pay 1 million gold for a weapon. Before that approx 5-6 millions gold were burned in a desperate attempt to secure this weapon for oneself. All ruby players bought one, some even more. If you weren't online that evening or couldn't afford rubies at that moment, your arena career was basically over. Weapon was a huge upgrade with its high damage and those without stood little chance to stand up against its might. Also no chance to see similar weapon for the next 2-3 month.

Anything to make your life a little bit easier? Well, of course.

Once again we are talking about communication. This is why its good to be part of a big guild or have a large familia. I've gotten tons of good equipment because of hints from guild and familia members. You don't always have time to go through the auction and market yourself - that can take a lot of time.

In order to get hints however, you have to give first. You see something - let your familia and guild know about it. That way you can also talk about who will be making offers for it on the auction, or if someone can buy more than one with rubies. Basically all sort of deals can arise from it. Eventually people will give back and let you know if they see something good.

Second part of your succesful communication part is letting people know if you are looking for something. Talk to people. Put it up on your profile page. Whatever. Find ways. Have fun ;)
